GrandWizzard Theodore at Zaccho

We are thrilled to announce that Hip Hop Pioneer DJ GrandWizzard Theodore is coming to Zaccho to work with our youth program February 15-19, 2017! He will hang out, DJ, answer questions and share the rich history of Hip Hop with our classes and community members. GrandWizzard Theodore will also be working Joanna Haigood on their project The Bronx Revolution and the Birth of Hip Hop, with the aim of taking it on tour. The piece was originally commissioned by Dancing in the Streets and premiered in 2013 at Casita Maria Center for Arts and Culture in the South Bronx. For more information visit our archives page.
