WAYS TO GIVE
A thriving arts community equals a healthy society! Dance is a doorway to personal expression, discipline, creativity, self-confidence, connection with others, physical and mental well-being, and a celebration of our diverse heritage!

Established in 1980 by Joanna Haigood and Lynda Reiman,
Zaccho has created 30 site-specific productions, taught 7,000 youth, presented 6 international aerial arts festivals, and nurtured 100s of artists through its award-winning programs.

Your support in 2026 is critical!
Zaccho experienced delays and rescinded approved grants, cuts in critical government funding, and the closure of major funding institutions. Taking a broader view, according to the Cultural Data Project, contributed revenue fell by 30%, with every source declining from 2023 to 2024. Foundation revenue dropped 25% after modest growth in 2023, and earned revenue declined 18%.

With funding cuts and displacement, many artists and schools are turning to us to fill the gap. Your contribution positions Zaccho Dance Theatre to thrive as a creative, cultural beacon for the youth, artists, and the Bay Area community.
